Thanks for making this kind of information available. I think I’m on the verge of being in what would be considered a hostile relationship with my dad. I still live at home and really worry about the impact it has on my younger sister and mum.
I’ve tried so many times to explain to him why I’m so upset at the things he does and why it hurts me that he’s so unreliable, doesn’t respect my mum or us really, and doesn’t remember things that are important to me, but it just gets me nowhere and I have no idea what to do next.
