Oh Liz I’m so so sorry to hear about your daughter. I’m going through a similar problem, my daughter cuts herself, has depression and anxiety. I read her journal and she says her dad doesn’t love her or care about her. I think he is a wonderful, gentle and patient dad but not very affectionate. He is struggling with her condition and shuts himself off because he doesn’t know how to fix it. I’m trying to send lots of love to them both but it really does hurt to see this happen.
