Sarah – I came across your article in my search for more information on potassium. I have been prescribed a potassium supplement (Micro k 10) after some blood work showed that my potassium levels were slightly lower than normal range. I’ve been on this for over a year now. I would love to not be taking it because I fear my body might be exposed to too much potassium, even though my dr has said that’s not possible. Plus, I just don’t love taking prescription meds. What are your thoughts? Have you heard of too much potassium? Do you think someone can improve their potassium levels on foods only?
